For many people, just the mention of Harley-Davidson revives images of Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper riding their custom choppers across America in Easy Rider. Or even the young Marlon Brando, portraying one of the members of a hooligan bike gang in 1954’s The Wild One.
Trying to imagine what a motorcycle shop might look like could conjure up a dumpy garage, slick with the sheen of grease, walls adorned with girlie calendars.
Truth is that today’s Harley-Davidson rider is more likely to be a CEO, Lawyer, Grandmother or even a pastor of your local church. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle has become a status symbol. They are people from all walks of life and all ages.
