Does the Holy Bible actually condemn homosexuality or have the traditions of men overpowered the Word of God? Quite simply, and contrary to popular belief, the Holy Bible does not condemn homosexuality. The Holy Bible does condemn homosexual lust and fornication just as it condemns heterosexual lust and fornication; however, it does not condemn homosexual love and marriage, just as it does not condemn heterosexual love and marriage. Therefore, homosexual love is not a sin according to the Holy Bible. Maybe the French and the Americans have more in common than just french fries and good wine.
What is homosexuality? A homosexual may be your best friend, your boss, your minister, your brother, your mother, or any of the hundreds of people that you encounter everyday. Homosexuals (gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transsexuals, and transgendered – or quite simply, gays) vary in age, emotional maturity, social status, personality, and many other ways. One may either feel hostile or tolerant about gays, or be somewhere in between, struggling to gain a better understanding between what God says about the issue and what man says.

Many young people who have had some homosexual thoughts or experiences become very concerned that they are homosexual, but only a small portion of all people who have such experiences adopt adult gay identities. (Trioden 47) Gays and lesbians are the subject of jokes and many of them are the victims of physical violence. Many are ignored or considered unlikable, offensive, wicked, sinful, or even criminal.
