Relationships are very complicated things to explain. They have many different dimensions to which they can be looked at from. You have romantic relationships as well as relationships like family and friends. In this paper, I will try to unlock the inner sanctum of what I, myself, look for in relationships and how I judge who my perfect partner would be. I will hope to accomplish this task by explaining many different aspects, such as my attachment style, my style of love, and what I find attractive in the opposite sex. I will also explain my relationship with my parents and how it effects my relationships in life and how the triangular theory applies to me.
My attachment style is hard to explain. I don’t use just one style. All of them come into effect in different situations, as they do with all people. Propinquity has effected me on one occasion with one of my closest friends, Rykki. We were always around each other all throughout high school. We started to evolve feelings for each other towards the end of our senior year. In this I came to realize that she had almost everything that I look for in a female companion. My style of love is something even more difficult to explain than my attachment style. I have a little of each style. At times, I look at love as a game like in the Lodus style. On the other hand, I incorporate the Pragma style sometimes in choosing a girl. I look at the more practical side of choosing them to best work in a relationship.
Everybody has certain qualities they look for in a mate. I have my own “checklist” per say on what I look for in a girl. It begins with physical characteristics. I like a girl with long hair, a nice face, and they have to be within my height range 5’0-5’5. I have no preference to hair color or eye color but I like a girl with pretty eyes.
