The passing of FTAA will now set the exploited workers of Mexico against even more desperate workers in countries such as Guatemala and Haiti. The average pay of a Mexican worker in a manual labor job is only seventy cents an hour. The average of 8-to 1 is the number of workers for a Mexican wage to the United States minimum wage.
