The authors in this article mentions that how organisational culture influences organisational behaviours. Organisational culture is “a system of shared meaning and beliefs within an organisation that determines in a large degree how employees act” (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg & Coulter, 2003, p. 70). Organisational behaviour is “the field of study concerned with the behaviours of people at work” (Robbins et. al., 2003, p. 44). In addition, the authors evaluated whether cultural differences in people’s tendencies to view themselves as interdependent or independent moderate the interactive relationship between procedural fairness and outcome favourability (Brocker, Chen, Mannix, Leung & Skarlicki, 2000, p. 138).The author mentioned how different cultures foster in organisation and the interaction of procedural fairness with outcome favourability. They are all very important in management. This is because managers and employees sometimes come from different backgrounds. As people bring their original culture to work, people from different countries behave quite differently. In addition they are working together all the time in the organisations, so they need to appreciate others’ cultures if they come from different countries.
