I believe that that a gun is a tool. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. The issue depends on who is operating the gun, and what circumstances it is involved in. Purchasing a handgun legally is a complex process, which includes the buyer going through a two month waiting period. These procedures guarantee the innocence and trustworthiness of a gun owner. The second amendment states the citizen's right to own and bear arms. In the case of US vs. Miller during the year of 1939, the Supreme Court voted against individual rights to bear arms. Nothing can destroy a government more quickly than its failure to observe its own laws. This is why all citizens should be aware of all of their constitutional rights. I also believe that law abiding citizens have the right to protect themselves against danger. Heavily restricting guns not only violates Constitutional rights but puts people at risk.

Gun control has been one of the most controversial issues for years. A large number of people believe that if gun control is heavily imposed it will promptly reduce the risk of crime. Guns are awful to some people because of the violence that they create. It is a proven fact that handguns have been the murder weapon of choice. These people believe that the public has relied on weaponry that creates mischief and lawbreaking acts involving gunfire. Gun
activists believe that humanity has relied on guns to create harm and criminals. Therefore, gun

control should be heavily enforced.

Now gun enthusiasts say that the second amendment gives us the right to bear arms and enforcing gun control would violate our constitutional right. Many innocent people feel they have the right to bear arms for the activity of hunting and often times for protection.
