Health Assessment Health Assessment History Perception--Health Management Pattern Patient says that he never gets sick and is in what he says is “perfect” health. B. T. says he has had maybe one cold in the past year and no absences from work due to illness. He says the most important things he does to keep healthy is work out religiously, follows a strict diet of fruits, vegetables, meats, and water. He eats no junk food. He thinks all of these things combined are vital elements to good health. Does not use cigarettes or drugs, but does socially drink on occasion. The subject has had three accidents-- two motor vehicles accidents where he received concussions and one football accident where he received a concussion. Has never really followed doctors orders because the treatments were too difficult to follow. Example, he only takes medicines until he feels better.
