Bad Eating Habits
Bad Eating Habits "Bad Eating Habits and College Students" I am a 19-year-old college freshman at McNeese State University. I eat very well, which I have found is in complete contrast with my college peers. According to the Chronicle, 83% of college students miss at least one meal a day. Most college students don't even know what a healthy diet is, and a large percentage of students who are aware of proper nutrition choose to ignore it. " How to avoid bad eating habits" is a course all college students should take. It is essential to know what entails a good diet. Also nutritional guides and education about food labeling are excellent tools in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Due to our fluctuating schedules, it is inevitable that college students are going to snack and eat fast food. There are steps that can be taken to make eating on the go healthier. If college students are unaware of what exactly a good diet is, bad eating habits are unavoidable. The first step to a good diet is eating regular, well-balanced meals. I have found that the Food Pyramid Guide is the simplest way of balancing my meals. It separates foods into groups and graphs the amount of each group needed in an average person's diet. Students who desire to improve their eating, diet, college, students, food, eat, bad, habits, good, fast, snacking, coke, part, keep, just, guides, few, water, steps, should, light, inevitable, impulse, important, help, healthy, found, day, time, serving, recommend, pyramid, one, night, meals, less, journal, guide, foods, fat-free, easy, daily, avoid, average, about, value, unavoidable, tip, think, thing
