Human Nature and Political Systems

Human nature, in general, tends to choose what comes natural to a person, most likely the things that were taught by parents. Parents instill virtues that one carries with him or her for their lives and most likely pass on to their offspring. These virtues provide individuals with the opinions each person has about the government. The government is seen differently by many people, some feel that democracy is the best or communism is more correct, or maybe socialism, kingship, tyranny, or anarchy is the answer. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and living in a free country like the United States, citizens are able to express themselves more freely. There are many purposes of the government that lead to the fostering of virtues, like reason and judgment, and rights, for example liberty and property, in its citizens that are provided by institutions that are formed, by family or the government itself.
The government has many purposes; which are all in favor of its citizens and help make life better. The major purpose of the government is to provide life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It does it by providing people with protection, allowing people to have rights, and to let citizens express themselves freely. The government has the responsibility to serve and protect all of its citizens whether it is from crime, terrorism, poverty, discrimination, etc and also make sure that all citizens are treated equally and that his or her rights are not jeopardized. The government controls the judicial system; they make the laws and make sure that they are being enforced. The government always contains the thought that everything they do should be for the best of the people and for the betterment of the country. So officials try everything in their power to defend their country and administer equally. The government provides each individual with the same rights and prevents them...
