Gun Control

Defining gun control is like defining our constitutional rights. In our constitution, the second amendment states, “a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Now how one interprets this right is the question. Who can say what a well regulated militia actually consists of. The KKK considers it self as a militia, the gang members assume they can be considered a militia, but on the other hand our U.S. Military Forces are considered a well regulated Militia. So depending on your point of view, or your life choices, gun control can be a positive or a negative point of view.
In 1994, in Monroe, Louisiana, a tragedy took place. A daughter decided to play a prank on dad and it went terribly wrong. The daughter and her friend were upstairs in a closet waiting for her parents to come home from her aunt’s. The parents, hearing noises upstairs when no one was supposed to be home, instinctively assumed there was a burglar in the house. Dad got his .357 magnum and went to investigate. The girls jumped out and dad shot. This story is from Gun Control opposing viewpoints, David L. Bender,Publisher. Looking at this incident one would be all for gun control.
