There are many different aspects to making a film and the one thing that really gets me involved in a film is the music. Music to me is what makes the film good that’s why I believe that to be the art of a film. It gives off all certain kinds of emotions and feelings that you would not have if there were not any music because you wouldn’t know how to feel.
Music in a film can make you feel all sorts of feelings. When watching a film and the music is slow, it can give off certain feelings. In some films movies, slow music means that something bad has happened and one is feeling gloomy. In Edward Scissorhands, the slow music played when something bad had happened. When he didn’t understand why he was different and the town people turned against he, the music was slow. When he would think of the man that created him and what it was like when he was alive, that was another good example of when music would set your mood and give you a feeling of how he felt.
My favorite film that consisted of all types of music was Elizabeth. That movie gave all different kinds of music, which gave me all different kinds of feeling. When they would have dances the music would be upbeat and fun. A lot of the time, the music would put a smile on my face because you knew that things were good and the people were having a good time. When the tunes were slow, you could tell that something was going to go wrong or something had already gone bad. You would get the feeling of terror or sadness. A couple of good examples are; when they went to war with the Queen of Scotland or France, I’m sorry I can’t remember that fact. And Queen Mary went up to the little boy that was laying on the ground wounded and she told the boy to take the flag and tell Elizabeth not to send any more children to fight for her.
