The Osbournes Vs. The White Race

4 Pages 884 Words

“The Osbournes” is a reality based television show that is aired on the Music Television (MTV) channel. It follows the unusual family of Ozzy Osbourne, along with his wife Sharon, daughter Kelly, and son Jack. They have another daughter, Aimee, but she doesn’t partake in the show. As her mom, Sharon says, “She can't handle being around us lunatics all day while she's trying to start her career!(www.mtv.com)" The way they act is a normal part of their lifestyle, but to the average American public it is considered wrong. With the falling economy of the USA one of the most important lessons being taught by sitcom families is money management, as usual the Osbournes beg to differ. In an article, Kelly said that when she and her mom go shopping that they just buy anything they see and don’t even end up using it. Typically white families manage their money somehow and they don’t just buy anything. Yes they are celebrities and have a lot of money but they aren’t portraying the white race correctly.
