‘LOSING ISAIAH’


Parenting really mean when a parent as a human being fosters all the needs a child can get from them like nourishing, protection, and guidance for a new life through the course of life.
In my opinion the real parent of Isaiah was Khaila his mother. Sure the lewin families were good to Isaiah since they brought home a black crack addictive baby in to their home without even thinking of the consequences that might bring to them as a family, but what more than a good parent can Khaila be to Isaiah by letting the lewin stay involved in Isaiah’s life.
The joy and responsibility of being Isaiah’s parents were the happiest this baby would bring into the family and how close it can make them get. And the responsibilities were the care that Isaiah needed with the entire patient in the world.
Isaiah was a special need child since out of the consequences of Khaila’s addiction to crack he became an addict too during Khaila’s pregnancy and after birth when Khaila left him in the dumpster alone.
Society can help parent by placing programs to help them with any problem they might have that would get in the way of parenting a child the right way.
Isaiah biological father didn’t had a right to him since he got Khaila pregnant and abandon her to her luck in the world. In this case the father just play the role of a sperm donor. She did the right thing by denying who he is.
The court was helpful to Isaiah but it was wrong of placing Isaiah right away with Khaila. Isaiah needed time with his former parents to teach him and make him understand the situation and that now he had a new mommy and why.
The court would had being more helpful by telling Khaila what is best at first for Isaiah since it would be more traumatic if he stop seeing the lewin family.
Isaiah’s removal from the home of the lewin was very destructive to them as a family unit since they learn to love and accept Isaiah as a member of the ...
