The author brings out few examples which help to clarify his points and explain the economy’s situation. The author talks about positive sides to economy, or better yet strengths, for example when economy was inclining or was stable at a high point, the country was lucky that energy prices stayed low, that information technologies fell sharply, a strong dollar and foreign currency crisis drove down import prices, and managed care took the wind out of healthcare inflation.
