There are many new inventions that are being created everyday. Somewhere in some country a person is creating the next new thing. Whether it be a man in Japan who is creating the new and latest micro chip for medical and technological advances, or a women in America inventing a new brush that will get ride of dry and damaged hair forever. The constant outpouring of new ideas keeps this world evolving forward. Thanks to many inventions of the past, we are able to live our lives in a little more comfort then before. Some people argue that not all inventions are good for this world. For example cloning, many people think that it is unethical and should not be done. Obviously there is a good and bad for everything. But for this paper, I will concentrate on the positive effects of many inventions. From cell phones to the world wide web, they all have positive effects on our lives today.

Cell phones, many think of them as annoying and a hassle to carry around. But think deeper, cell phones are very important for today’s age. Cell phones keep us connected to one another. No matter what country we are in, anyone has the capabilities to call us by just dialing one number. In case of an emergency, no one needs to worry or wonder how to track you down. Simply they can ring your cell number, and they will be connected. Also, thanks to many cell phones today and quick thinking many robbers have been caught and would be crimes have stopped before they occurred. Ignore the corny rings on the cell phones today and look deeper. Without cell phones, we would not be so interconnected today as we were in the past.

The television, some people say it’s a lazy mans best friend other says it’s a powerful resource. Television helps us see things we normally could not see just by sitting on our couch. With television we can see news that is breaking or even late breaking. We can see current pictures of the war in Iraq, we can see a trail...
