Darden also has a Restaurant Support Center to help its staff tackle day-to-day issues. Another strategy that has remained consistent is Darden’s unwillingness to compromise quality. By not considering franchise opportunities, Darden is able to maintain control and ensure that all guests have a quality dining experience. This is unusual for a large company with a solid reputation; however, Darden will not compromise quality for financial gain.

INTENDED AND EMERGENT STRATEGIES
