First Meeting with Clients
The first meeting between the consulting group and its client, Paragent, took place inside of the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. Eric Banter, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Paragent, is the company¡¦s representative for the project.

During the meeting, Eric explained the brief history of Paragent and its progression from developing and idea to their current point with a nearly completed product. Eric is also the head salesman. He touched on how Paragent could use help with their marketing plan, more specifically what approach they would take to distribute and sell their product. The conversation then moved into what the consulting group could do to aid Paragent in having a successful roll out. The end result was the decision to do a competitive analysis that would show how their product stacked up against others from competing companies.
