King Arthur King Arthur King Arthur’s unforgettable tale The story of a boy who pulled a sword out of the stone, the tale of a man who became king, a king that ruled for years in the kingdom of Camelot. This is the story of king Arthur, and the sword Excalibur, a story that has been told through hundred of generations from oral traditions, to books, to movies. Throughout the years, different versions of this tale have come out, but in a general look they are all about the same thing. But why has it lasted for so long, since its origins in the 15th century until now, and who knows until when. There are many reasons why the tale of King Arthur has been so popular, one of them is that the story has all the literary elements needed to be a very good story, suspense, action, romance, fiction, it has everything. The tale belongs to a very mystical period, the medieval age, a time of knights, sorcerers, dragons and magic, a time of imagination, of mysteries and heroes, one open to many stories and adventures. Another factor that has made this tale so popular is all the magic it has.
