Furthermore, many don’t understand why they deserve it more than doctors, police officers, firemen, and even the President. However, there are legitimate reasons for the earnings of these athletes and actors.
Special talent is deserving of special salary. Outstanding athletes and gifted actors provide us with enjoyment, excitement, and gratification. How many people can rend such strong emotions from audiences in a movie theater or a sports arena? By watching a sports event or a movie, many are able to relieve stress, spend time with loved ones or acquire new knowledge. Those who are the most talented deliver these invaluable experiences to the masses. Such talent is a rarity in our society and those who posses it should be rewarded.
Many celebrities and athletes learn and hone their skills for years. They spend endless hours practicing their distinctive talent. Much time and money is invested in order to develop their skills.
