The title of the book I read is The Scarlet Letter.  Author of this book is
Nathaniel Hawthorne.  Published by Watermill Publishing Company, Inc.  Place
of publication is the United States of America.  Date of copyright is 1995.  
 	A brief description and summarization of this book:  The Scarlet Letter is
about a woman who sins.  Scarlet letter means the letter that is placed and marks
this woman for life.  Hester Prynn is her name; she lives in a small, respected
town.  Everyone knows each other, everyone respects each other, until someone
does wrong.  They are hated and rejected from their life styles.  Hester is labeled
with a scarlet letter “A” standing for Adultery.  Adultery was Hester’s crime. 
More than a crime a sin.  In the towns peoples eyes it’s a crime, and she is rejected
from the town.  Out of this crime, comes a child, a bastard.  The man will stay
anonymous to the town to keep his good reputation and good name in the town,
and not to be known as another adulterer.  Hester and her child, which she
names Pearl, hence the name of the great value this child
