Seeking The Other Side Seeking The Other Side Have you ever lost a loved one or a true friend that you hold dear to your heart? Most people have experienced this because death is something that exist and will continue to be present in the life we live in. Even though death is something that is in constant occurrence it still brings about the question of why. This is when God comes into the picture. Since an individual has never seen God’s face, has no proof of his existence, one can only reach God through faith. Faith is truly an essential in understanding and overcoming the effects of death. An individual by the name of Alfred Lord Tennyson shows how faith serves as a healer to the mind body and soul in one of his masterpieces In Memoriam: A.A.H. Tennyson wrote this piece of literature after he learned that his beloved friend and companion Arthur Henry Hallam had died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of twenty-two.
