Benefits of Contact Sports A Beneficial Risk Obviously, there has always been a great risk while participating in contact sports. The participants involved in these sporting events are always susceptible to being seriously injured. These brave participants are completely aware of the everyday risk, but the energy that these games bring, keep them striving regardless. Over the years, there have been a countless numbers of injuries due to the nature of these sports, yet millions of children are gaining interest each day. While children may be gaining interest, the same statement can not be said for most parents who are faced with the issue of whether or not to allow their children to participate in often dangerous sports. For parents, coming to the conclusion to allow their child to participate in these sometimes “violent” sports, can certainly become a difficult decision. They must face the reality that their child will be at constant risk to an injury and that fact is usually difficult to handle for most parents. Injuries are always an unfortunate circumstance, yet sadly, they are a part of any physical activity. With all factors, including the risk of injury, I believe that there are many more positive than negative outcomes that come from sports, contact, sport, children, child, allow, risk, physical, parents, interest, while, participate, injury, injuries, important, game, decision, child’s, become, always, yet, very, teamwork, significant, positive, playing, play, physically, participating, participants, part, one, make, involved, intelligence, great, gaining, excellent, difficult, certainly, believe, being, been, because, activity, acquire, young, years, worried, world, without
