Fear and Prejudice : A Communication Breakdown
Fear and Prejudice : A Communication Breakdown Fear and Prejudice : A Communication Breakdown Our world today is a mixture of different societies, different cultures, a blend of different people varying from the color of their face to their ideas and beliefs. Out of their ability to coexist, their innate “gift” to excel their thought in various fields, humans struggled their way to a brave new century, a new époque full of promises but full of dangers as well. For every step forward there is a price that needs to be paid, for every “birth” there lies the menace of “death”. The higher the price, the higher the cost. And in that point, today, the question is not how much humanity has achieved, but how much have been lost out of this coexistence; whether people have the ability to realize that phenomena such as prejudice and fear can and already do lead to the breakdown of this communication. Prejudices exist. It is an undeniable force within our society, so prevalent that it can be found within the most open-minded people and enlightened organizations, subtly taking its toll despite the best of intentions. For example, prejudice towards a certain food or football team people, fear, prejudice, way, makes, communication, values, out, healthy, different, world, various, point, person, man, exist, every, breakdown, within, unless, today, taking, society, societies, social, set, realize, racism, promises, price, new, needs, much, lies, lie, leads, lead, higher, hide, help, groups, group, great, full, factors, equal, each, cultures, cooperation, come
