Hamlet
Hamlet Throughout the play Hamlet, there are eight gruesome deaths where practically every main character had perished by the end of the play. Death is in issue for all characters as they try to assist, or plot against Hamlet. The plot is thick with revenge and secrecy among the characters while they all create their own demise by the conclusion of the final scene. Everything in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, revolves around the idea of death or dying. There are many indications that relate to death in the play Hamlet. In (III I 515-572) Hamlet contemplates suicide during his, “To be, or not to be,” speech. He is unsure about himself and his belief in the ghost. He is wondering about life after death and whether he would be better off dead rather than carrying out his father’s revenge. This is included in the play because it deals with suicide, which is a viewpoint on killing oneself. Shakespeare wanted to obtain the various aspects of death and dying. He also obtained this thought when the clowns were talking about whether or not Ophelia was worthy of a Christian burial in (V I hamlet, death, king, play, revenge, after, wanted, kill, ghost, claudius, about, laertes, iv, iii, father’s, because, actions, whether, polonius, out, now, murder, ii, father, dying, didn’t, characters, big, while, telling, sure, suicide, started, soon, plot
