Thorton On Religion Thorton On Religion THORTON ON RELIGION Religion was created because every one does not worship in the same way. Not everyone is on the same spiritual level. All over the world we can see the beliefs of individuals as they vary. In the Islami world, the beliefs are totally different than that of the western religions.In India the belief stems from a person who became so enlightened when he sat under a puoi tree, he was able to remain on earth and teach others to become more like him or more God like. In certain parts of India for instance, the belief is based on the actions of your previous lives. Your thoughts, actions and deeds of your previous lives is an indication of the type of life that you are born into in the next. In the christian faith, there is a belief of a world that you pass into after the termination of this life on earth.
