The Sisimito

The Sisimito

It is quite frightening to go hunting in The Mountain Pine Ridge area, especially since many of the people in Belize believe that the Sisimito lurches through the forests in this region.  Some people believe that this is only superstition but, after hearing about the abduction of many adults and children who had encountered this fierce creature, I have decided that going into the forest of Mountain Pine Ridge is not worth getting kidnapped and later killed over.  I have heard of many cases where people who were captured by the Sisimito turned up dead.
There was a time when a little boy was sent by his mother into the forest to take lunch for his father, according to the father he saw his son coming towards him, but before he could reach a hairy beast had captured him.  Three months after this incident half of the boy’s body was found in a cave about a mile away from where he was taken.
A few months ago a woman was found in the forest.  According to this woman the Sisimito had captured her when she had gone to get some wild berries.  She claimed that a hairy
