Ruth Ruth The Book of Ruth The story of Ruth is a short but wonderful example of how families should stay together no matter what. Ruth shows us that when times get hard and lonely we should always take care of the people that matter most to us our families. Ruth was a woman who lived a long time ago with her husband and his parents. When her husband and her father in law died, Ruth and her mother in law, Naomi, returned to her homeland of Judah. But when they got there Ruth refused to leave her mother in laws side. She begged for her to take her back with her.
