Early Experiments

The early experiments on people that we learned about didn't really surprise me as much as they just made me upset. The first Psychologists thought some of those weird ideas would actually help their theories. But I guess you have to try all of those weird things at some point, just so you can forget about them. I didn't know there was any difference between Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists before this class began, nor did I know the technical terms for a lot of things. At first I thought this class would be a lot of tests on people. But I was wrong we watch movies and learn about cool problems! I also was glad to understand the connections between it and Biology and Philosophy. I hadn't known the great difference between Psychology and Philosophy until this quarter as we learned about it in this class. I also think, however, that this will be a good experience for me because I don't really associate depression and other things that are common!
