Republicans Vs. Democrats
Republicans Vs. Democrats Republicans vs. Democrats The first two political parties in America are the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. Several political parties were formed under these two first political parties. However, despite several groups of political parties exist, two groups of political parties are popular: the democrats and the republicans. Different than the view of the democrats, the republicans believe in citizen's rights and freedom, in economic opportunity of a nation, in a nation’s national defense, and in an education that is under a parental control. Firstly, the republicans believe that the United States were founded on the fundamental principle that individuals have certain rights and freedoms. They believe that the individuals’ rights and freedoms cannot be violated and may be restricted only to the degree essential to maintain the rights of others. This means each and individual can enjoy the rights and freedoms of the country without diminishing the rights of others. For example, one have the rights to own a gun to use for protection and pleasure. The democrats believe that the U.S. Founding Fathers did not really mean what they said when they guaranteed certain constitutional rights.
