Affirmative Action
Affirmative Action Affirmative Action was developed with good intentions, of that I have no doubt. However, I don’t believe Affirmative Action policies have been entirely beneficial. I have trouble seeing this issue with out bias, because I believe Affirmative Action in and of itself is a form of prejudice. It is the direct opposite of equality and fairness, which is precisely what it aimed to achieve. Nevertheless I did my best to accurately assess the pros and cons justly. People are not always treated fairly. Prejudice brings pain and injustice upon all colors, creeds and genders. Discrimination is especially prevalent in the case of minorities and woman whom have historically been societal have-nots. It is righteous to try and help those deserving of employment and educational opportunities. I agree that people are too frequently judged unfairly and not given the chances rightfully entitled to them. Every United States citizen should have an equal shot at the American Dream. In this respect I am supportive of active efforts encouraging equality. There are some substantial consequences of programs affirmative, action, programs, people, believe, should, prejudice, power, out, minorities, majority, especially, entitled, been, because, woman, without, willing, whom, white, wealth, upon, united, unfairly, unfair, undo, undeserving, try, trouble, treated, today, though, things, supportive, substantial, struggles, states, sooner, societal, social, simply, shot, shift, seems, seeing, rightfully, righteous, respect, reminder, regard
