A Time To Kill Fundamentals Of Law
A Time To Kill Fundamentals Of Law A Time To Kill Fundamentals of Law In the movie A Time To Kill, directed by Joel Schumacher, the viewer stumbles upon a lawyer and his assistant trying to save a father on trial for murder. In this movie there are several aspects of law that we have learned that include the evidence rules, court procedure, and justice. The plot includes racial tensions involving the Ku Klux Klan, corrupt officials, southerners, Yankees, and many others. The evidence rules that were portrayed in A Time To Kill was carried out with grave dramatic emphasis. The officials began with investigating two redneck men who had raped Carl Lee Hailey’s 10 year old daughter. Carl Lee shows up at the court house when the two rednecks were to be arraigned and shoots them to death, injuring one officer. He is then taken into custody. He than later on was tried for murder. In those southern times there was racism against coloured by the Ku Klux Klan.
