Pearl Harbor is known to be one of the most terrifying attackevrPearl Harbor is known to be one of the most terrifying attacks ever performed on the United
State of America. This attack was assembled by the Japanese on December 7th, 1941 (Kimmet
12). At the time of these horrendous attacks Pearl Harbor was a military base in the Hawaiian
islands. This harbor was home to many soldiers who were based either on ships or at air force
bases. Every American citizen was cough by sudden suprise when we were attacked. The
question was why did they attack, and why didn’t we know about it before all these soldiers were
killed?
	The planning of this terrible attack all began in 1940, when United States moved their
military base from the state of California to the islands of Hawaii. These movements done by the
Americans made the Japanese very angry and you will soon find out what they did about it. Then
the United States decided to take further action, so what they did was cut off trade with the
Japanese in 1941. This made the Japanese very furious and the reason being was because they
imported eighty percent of their oil from the United States (Kimmer 14). The man who was
