To Baldly Go
To Baldly Go In a world of perfect teeth, perfect height, and perfect bodies, we can see why baldness can be a damper on a person's self-esteem. Historically, humans have always tried to express individuality through hair. Nowadays, the majority of the people in the world have been led to believe that hair still has a mythical meaning in terms of style, attractiveness, and youthfulness. This obsession with vanity has led Americans spend more than $9.5 billion a year on beauty products and treatments, including remedies for hair loss (Holmstrom). Why Do Men Go Bald? As a part of the normal hair-growth cycle, the average person looses about 100 hairs every day (Fischer). We don’t notice the loss, because the human scalp contains about 100,000 follicles of hair (Woods). Some people may think that men go bald because of bad health or they have a disease, but when a man goes bald it is not his fault. According to studies, the main cause of hair loss is the hereditary aspect (Scow). For the one going bald, there are many types of baldness, such as: hair loss in the characteristic "M" pattern, patchy hair loss, skin disorders, or a normal hair, bald, loss, even, people, baldness, out, men, products, man, world, skin, scalp, perfect, now, look, go, fischer, way, very, treatments, today, though, statement, society, proving, popular, person, led, however, hope, holmstrom, hairs, don’t, balding
