Imagine sitting down to eat in your favorite restaurant after a long day at work. You are ready to relax and enjoy your meal. Your food arrives, and just as you are about to take that first bite, a thick, choking cloud of filthy black smoke surrounds your head. As you turn your head to see who just ruined your appetite, your stomach seems to turn right along with it as yet another toxic cloud heads your way. How can someone be expected to eat when they are being bombarded with disgusting, not to mention dangerous fumes? A public place like a restaurant is no place for smoking, and it should be prohibited. 
	By prohibiting smoking in a place like a restaurant, we may be saving the lives of hundreds of people, including your own as well as your family’s. If a survey was taken asking people how often they deliberately put the lives of their friends and family at risk, it’s a pretty safe bet that most people would say never. However, they may be forced to reconsider their answer if they go out to eat in restaurants that allow smoking. The secondhand smoke that they and their company
