A Life Spent as a Couch Potato Cannot be a Healthy One A Life Spent as a Couch Potato Cannot be a Healthy One A fat man sits on his faded plaid couch watching his television that has been on the same channel for days. Sure he could change the channel, but there is one problem; he lost the remote control in all of his trash. So why wont he get up and change it himself? It’s because he is too lazy. And as the black river of ants parade away with left-over food crumbs, he sits around doing absolutely nothing. This is a classic example of your average couch potato. This lifestyle is neither healthy, nor is it desirable. Sure, it could cut down on the risk of skin cancer, but not receiving any ultra violet rays from the sun can lead to depression. Also, by eating a lot and not moving much can cause calories to build up. If they sit around all day without exercise, they will become extremely overweight. After not showering for a long period of time and wearing the same cloths, the couch potato will form a rancid odor. This is a typical trait in couch potatoes. Sometimes they don’t even feel like getting up to shave.
