ADHD
ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most common behavior disorder diagnosed in children and teens. ADHD refers to a group of symptoms that begin in early childhood and can continue into adulthood, causing difficulties at home, at school, at work, and within the community if not recognized and treated. I chose this topic because now it seems that everyone has this disorder because of tv and the quick and meaningless images we are bombarded with by it everyday. I wanted to learn more about this topic: the causes, the symptoms, and the treatment. The exact cause of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is not known. However, inherited genetic factors are likely responsible. A specific has not been directly linked to ADHD, but a relationship is suspected between symptoms and brain structure, which influences temperament, the function of chemicals in the brain that help regulate attention and activity (dopamine and norepinephrine), abnormal function of the prefrontal cortical lobe that causes problems with attention and impulse control, certain enviromental factors, such as lead exposure, or having a mother who smoked or drank alcohol during pregnancy, may also contribute to the risk of developing ADHD. There is no evidence to support claims that ADHD is caused by too adhd, symptoms, children, child, problems, behavior, people, diagnosed, age, treatment, specific, school, often, medications, inattention, control, because, attention, symptom, socialization, noticeable, normal, hyperactivity, however, help, having, groups, difficulty, causes, between, adults, about, years, treated, topic, time
