Surveilance Of Road Intersections Surveilance Of Road Intersections Video Surveillance of Road Intersections I think that most drivers would agree that people who ignore red lights at intersections are a danger to the people in the area of the intersection. Accidents are more likely to happen when someone does not stop at a red light and cars may collide with other cars or even innocent bystanders, walkers, joggers, and bikers. Anyone in the vicinity of an intersection is in jeopardy of an accident when a driver does not obey motor vehicle law and as a result injuries may occur. I have seen this happen more than once and I thank God that I wasn’t part of the accident and hoped that the injured people were all right. It is unfortunate that innocent, law-abiding citizens have to suffer from the bad actions of others who do not follow the law. Installing cameras at intersections is a win- win situation that leads us as drivers to a safer position while driving. This is why any infringement on privacy would be worth it, because human lives are at stake if they aren’t installed.
