Liberals/Conservatives

Liberals are a group that advocate governmental guarantees of individual rights and civil liberties.  They have consistently  been disposed to reform of any kind and look for a better future.  They advocate the largest possible measure of freedom for the individual.  
	Conservatives are disposed to preserve existing conditions, and to resist change.  They want individual freedom, and responsibility .  Limited government involvement has is also one of their characteristics.  They are also firm believers in capitalism.
	The meanings of these two groups have changed like every thing over time.  Conservatives have become more liberal in their views on current issues.  They are becoming more open in there ways.  Liberals I believe have stayed true to their beliefs and opinions on issues.  
	Conservatives and Liberals are on opposite sides of many concerns facing our government.  Here is where they stand on some focal issues.  Conservatives view abortion as a waste of an innocent life and feel it should be ended immediately.  They want abortion legalization to be ended.  The Liberal party supports a woman's right to choose what they want to do with their body.  It
