Civic Efficacy
Civic Efficacy Civic Efficacy Civic efficacy to me means knowledge about history, geography and cultures of the US and the world. It means knowing the constitution, the legal and political systems and current events. Civic efficacy is about having values and attitudes. It means Developing a reasoned commitment to public values of this society, being able to deal with conflicts, having basic human rights and protecting those rights, Developing reasoned loyalty to this nation , Bonding with other humans, and treating oneself and others with respect. Civic Efficacy also means to study and to have skills in certain things, it means to participate in discussions and group activities, last but not least it means to have intellectual skills. Social understanding is knowledge of social aspects of the human condition, how they have evolved over time, the variations that occur in differing physical environments and cultural settings, and the emerging trends that appear likely to shape the future. Citizens who know this or do this are good and effective citizens. They know about there past they know the difference between right and wrong. They know about the world around them. They aren’t blind to the things that go on in this day about, means, kids, citizen, social, efficacy, civic, values, skills, knowledge, know, good, world, understanding, talking, same, said, role, right, realized, never, much, learned, having, future, before, because, you’re, wrong, while, what’s, time, things, teach, taught, should, school, say, rights, reasoned, problems, pressure, peer, past, older, new, model, made, little
