A proposal has been developed by Congress and television networks which would involve a trade for ad time already bought in exchange for anti-drug themes to be incorporated in prime time television shows. With Congress creating a massive financial incentive for TV networks, the government’s role in rearranging scripts to promote anti-drug awareness in prime time television, has society questioning their joint decision to air such programs.
