Executive Decision Executive Decision Let me begin simply by stating that I cannot stand Steven Seagal as an actor. There's something about him and Sylvester Stallone that gets under my skin. With that said, its easy to understand why I was hesitant about watching this movie when Samantha and I were discussing it. Once we started watching, however, I found out that it wasn’t so bad after all. Any movie that kills off Steven Seagal in the first twenty minutes is ok in my book. Executive Decision is a movie that hits extremely close to home in today's society. The story concerns a 747 airliner hi-jacked between Athens and Washington D.C. Their "plan" is to kill everyone on board unless an Arab terrorist leader is freed from an American prison. While Dr. Grant, Kurt Russell, is attending a formal government ball, he gets called to the Pentagon situation room. After a briefing of the situation, he is left to analyze a plan of action. He realizes that the terrorists have an extremely legal nerve gas called DC-5 on board.
