Ancient Roman Entertainment

The Ancient Romans were a great civilization. Not only did they have vast knowledge, but they had many forms of relaxation. Some forms of entertainment were
free so all could enjoy. This would include poor as well as the rich. The theaters were huge,even small theaters were able to seat 7000 people. The theaters would perform day or night. The wealthy could light oil lamps and sty up at home, while the poor usually went to sleep since it was costly to run oil lamps through the nights. This is why the poor usually went to sleep at dark.
	The colosseum was a huge public entertainment center. the colosseum could seat 
a total of 45,000 sectators! This is where the roman gathered to watch bloody combat between  gladiators , and battles between men and wild animals. The Romans thought 
death was and will be entertaining. On occasion they would flood the Colosseum
with water and hold naval battles,where many competitors died!
	The Roman games (Track and Field) was played in the city
