How The Red Cross Letterworks As A Tool Of Persuation

The first thing that captures a human eye and attention are the three photos on the top of the front page. The photos grow intensively from left to right as you are looking at them. These photos show the suffering, poverty and horrible conditions that the people have to live in, in their daily lives. The first picture is of a landscape; this picture tells us that the problem exists. There is a background of snow, which tells that winter has arrived and that it is cold. We already feel sorry for them and have an urge to donate. The second picture is of a man with a horse in a background of snow. We feel sympathetic towards their situation already. The third and final picture is of a child, which emphasises the innocence and we recognise it as a cry for help. Below the photographs there are some words in bold. The words are in a bold and in a larger font because it emphasises the words so that they stand out from the rest of the text. The words summarise the whole letter in a fe!
