Ben Franklins American Dream
Ben Franklins American Dream Ben Franklins American Dream I feel that Ben Franklin’s American Dream is still a possibility today. The dream he portrayed is still a reality to many Americans. Although more and more obstacles arise every day, the opportunities that existed then, exist now. Everyone’s ancestors started out in the same position. Many were just poor merchants in England working under the king’s supervision. Most of them had the same idea of escaping to the “Land of Opportunity”, which is America, so they could better themselves. The first thing mentioned in Franklin’s autobiography is mobility. I feel that Franklin was correct in thinking that the first process in building a solid foundation for a better life, is to take on a journey. A person must figure out the journey they want to take in life before they can do anything. Once they have declared a journey they must decide what they want to do on their journey. Franklin decided to get an education. However, he was unable to get a formal education. In today’s world if you want to move up in life you have to have a solid education. education, life, franklin, dream, american, journey, wealthy, today, person, formal, because, take, success, out, just, however, good, franklin’s, first, day, children, although, while, wanted, try, thinks, succeed, solid, simply, same, rightly, one, next, must, morals, method, living, idea, home-schooled, goals, feel, every, better, ben, believe, become, became, america, agree, year
