King Arthur
King Arthur King Arthur When Arthur was thrust into the role as leader of England, he wasn't sure exactly how he wanted to rule his kingdom. Unlike past kings, Arthur didn't have any training in being a king, but with the help of Merlin, King Arthur was able to create a vision of the perfect kingdom. King Arthur set three goals for his kingdom. First, he wanted to unite England, and bring peace to it. He then wanted to rid the kingdom of all evil. Finally, King Arthur wanted to make everybody in his kingdom happy. Although all of these goals were accomplished, as time passed, they came undone, and the kingdom collapsed. When Arthur became king, Merlin is by his side to advise him. And since Merlin's goal was to unite England, it became Arthur's goal. By wielding excalibiur, Arthur gained control of most of England, and with a powerful army, took the rest by force. At first, the peace in England was fragile, and war could have erupted at any moment. But as time passed, the fact that England was united was taken for granted. This was the major reason, the united England didn't last.
