Fireweed

The book that I read for my quarter project was Fireweed by Jill Paton Walsh. This 
Story took place in the 1940's during World War II in London.The author discuses the life of a young man named Bill and a young women name Julie who lived on the streets and managed to make it on their own.
	The book opens up with a young man reminiscing about the past where he met his best friend who also became his partner. He was fifteen that year, the year he met Julie. He was in the underground station living as he usually did and he saw her wandering around. HE went to introduce himself when she was startled and ran away. He managed to stick with her until she got tired of running. He asked her what her name was and she replied Julie,and he told her his name was Bill.They got to know each other and decided to get some breakfast together at Marco's, since Julie didn't no the streets too well. Bill was very happy that he had met someone, because ever since the war had started he had felt very lonely. Julie was just as happy because she didn't want
