1st to Die
1st to Die “1st to Die” written by James Patterson. The setting in this book is in San Francisco; it is the present day. This story was told in first person point of view, through the eyes of Lindsay Boxer. The theme in this story would be that you shouldn’t count your eggs before the hatch. I say this because when they thought they had the right person, she was only part of the duo. There are eight main characters in this story. The first is Lindsay Boxer, a homicide inspector, Claire Washburn, a medical examiner, Jill Bernhardt, an assistant D.A., Cindy Thomas, a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, Chris Raleigh, another inspector who gets paired up with Lindsay, Medved, the police chief, Nicholas Jenks and his wife.
